Brief description
Pangasius (Pangasius Hypophthalmus) is referred to Pangasidae family and is one of the most popolar species reised through aquaculture. The largest producer of Pangasius is Vietnam, where fish is raised in provinces around Mekong river. In 2012 the total Pangasius supply accounted for more than 1,1 Mln metric tonnes. Due to its affordability and excellent eating qualities Pangasius is considered as one of the main import positions in many countries.
