In February 2020, frozen mackerel imports amounted to 2,288 tons, down 44 % from 4,088 tons a year earlier.
The accumulated import volume came to about 7,392 tons in February, down 46 % from about 13,707 tons a year earlier.
In the last six years (from 2015 to 2020) the average February import was about 3,809 tons, down about 40% from 2,288 tons in February this year.
Frozen mackerel import countries were imported from two countries, Norway and China.
February`s cumulative imports were about 7,082 tons from Norway and 310 tons from China.
